Increase visibility of complete hot water system operating parameters allowing the user to monitor performance and receive alarm notifications as well as accumulate statistical data and trend via Ethernet and 4G Connectivity.

Provide data:

- via 4G Connectivity for Remote Monitoring, with site specific user interface via secure log-in to Rheem Connect® online portal. Including 12 Months Remote Monitoring.
Provide peace of mind for all stake holders, as any critical parameter reading outside normal operation limits will trigger an Alarm or Maintenance notification via email and SMS for onsite service team, remote facility management team and Rheem Service team.
Ensure ongoing compliance with legal obligations providing specific input information for local BMS system and remotely via Rheem Connect® portal, as live data and history trends allowing system performance analysis.

The BMS and remote monitoring package shall be Rheem Connect® Generation 2 gateway model no. 299341-_, which shall communicate with site BMS via Ethernet and with Rheem Connect® online portal via Ethernet and 4G connection.
The information provided to the BMS system shall include:
- data specific for individual CFGWH units,
- storage water tank temperature,
- supply to the building hot water temperature and return from the building hot water temperature,
- primary hot water pumps and secondary hot water (building return) pumps operation
4G connectivity is providing remote monitoring capability via Rheem Connect® URL portal if Ethernet is not availaible.
Any critical parameter reading outside normal operation limits shall trigger an Alarm or Maintenance notification via email and SMS sent to onsite service team, remote facility management team and Rheem Service team.
BMS Communication shall be via Modbus TCP/IP or BACnet TCP/IP protocols using specific address registers.
The BMS and remote monitoring package shall provide up to 30 Continuous Flow Gas Water Heater (CFGWH) faults and up to 14 system faults and alarms when connected to any Tankpak Deluxe water heater.
The BMS and remote monitoring package shall be housed in an factory assembled and tested IP54 enclosure.
It shall include two RJ45 Ethernet ports (one for communication with Tankpak and the other for connection to LAN-Ethernet); two Ethernet cables (1m and 10m) and 1.8m 240V power cord.
The gateway can be installed either indoor or outdoor and a 240V general purpose outlet socket shall be installed within 1m of the equipment in an easily accessible location, by other trades in compliance with AS/NZS 3000.
