What criteria are there for creating & claiming RECs?
- RECs can only be created for solar and heat pump water heaters listed on the ORERs 'Register of Solar Water Heaters'. For solar and heat pump water heaters recently launched, Rheem will pay a financial benefit for these systems until they are published on the register.
- Installations in new and existing homes are eligible.
- RECs can only be claimed by the owner of the solar or heat pump water heater.
- The country is divided into 4 zones, and the installation location of the water heater is eligible for the RECs indicated in this postcode zone.
