Located in Melbourne's Dockland's precinct, Colonial Stadium is Melbourne's newest state of the art sporting and venue facility.

Being able to seat approximately 53,000 people, Colonial Stadium with the use of a retracting roof, will be able to accommodate people in comfort while enjoying their sporting or concert entertainment.

Several AFL Clubs will be calling this facility home. Located close to Melbourne and public transport, Colonial Stadium will provide accessible mass entertainment within 5 minutes of the CBD for sports-loving Melbourne.

Colonial Stadium can cater for a range of functions from a small intimate meeting of 10 people up to 1800, banquet style in the Victory Room.

Equipment & Installation

For the vast amounts hot water required ten Rheem indoor 621275 Heavy Duty gas water heaters were specified and installed to provide reliable and quick hot water at mains pressure, utilising natural gas.

This hot water plant was designed and installed with the Rheem modular commercial "Equaflow" principle, providing a flexible system which will cope with any demand the Stadium requires.

In addition to providing the hot water plant, around 40 Rheem Lazer, Designer Series boiling water units were also installed. The Lazer Designer series combines a stylish streamlined jacket to suit any décor with a state of the art electronic control system and the only push button tap control on the market to provide boiling water in an instant. The Rheem Lazer is a safe, reliable and efficient boiling water unit ensuring all users will enjoy cup after cup of their favourite hot beverage.

With a 7 year tank warranty and a 2 year parts and labour warranty, the Rheem Lazer will give great service for many years to come.
